A Fantasy Filled With Magic, Action, & Adventure!
“Aradia’s Secret” is a fantasy filled with magic, action, and adventure. In her tale, Dobbs creates worlds within worlds—places for gods, goddesses, and demons to roam freely about the principalities of elves, humans, and halflings... just to name a few. The plotline to “Aradia’s Secret” flows well and carries the story forward at a good pace. Dobbs’ characters are well-formed, with a likable leading heroine, and others of varying backgrounds who allow the reader a glimpse into their unusual world and pasts. On Gwen’s epic journey to find the goddess who controls the flow of magic to her people, she battles many enemies alongside her faithful companion, Vonner, for whom she has developed feelings. But like most romances—even supernatural ones—there is a twist, and Gwen suspects that her dear friend may not be working in her best interest.
“Aradia’s Secret” is an expansive adventure that will provide readers with a good vacation or weekend read, and it gives readers a sense of satisfaction with each quest that the lead character successfully accomplishes.
